On July 18th, in the heart of Paris’ Bas-Belleville neighbourhood, a pivotal meeting was held, bringing together 14 key stakeholders. Organized by the Agence Parisienne du Climat (APC), a GINNGER project partner, and hosted at the environmentally-focused social enterprise Envie Le Labo, the event gathered elected officials, representatives from the City of Paris and the 20th arrondissement’s city hall, local ecological transition associations, and residents.
The primary goal was to bring stakeholders together to start imagining the topics and ways to work and organize actions within the neighborhood. The discussion focused on creating an inclusive, visible, and participatory approach to ensure a successful ecological transition driven by the residents.
The next neighbourhood mobilization event is scheduled for this autumn, with plans for workshops, visits, and events to further engage residents and drive tangible ecological actions.
