How are cities becoming greener and more inclusive? Watch GINNGER’s new Urban Reboot series to follow the journey of six pilot cities.

The GINNGER project, co-funded by the European Union, has launched Urban Reboot, a new video series exploring how six European cities are transforming their neighbourhoods to become more sustainable and inclusive.

The first episode, Reimagining our cities, introduces GINNGER’s mission: to make neighbourhood renovation easier and more inclusive by engaging residents, local authorities, and experts. By working as a team, cities address social, environmental, and economic challenges to create healthier and more sustainable places to live.

Central to the project is the role of the Green Neighbourhood Facilitator (GNF), a figure who helps translate community needs into actionable plans, ensuring that sustainable solutions are tailored to the realities of each neighbourhood.

By testing innovative approaches in diverse urban contexts, each pilot contributes valuable insights that are collected and shared across the network allowing effective solutions to be adapted and replicated for the benefit of all communities involved.
