Welcome to the fifth edition of the GINNGER newsletter!

Across Europe, the transition towards more sustainable and resilient communities is taking shape through local actions, collaboration, and innovation. As GINNGER moves into the second half of the project, many of the ideas developed so far are beginning to become visible on the ground.

In this edition, we look back at the consortium meeting in Orte, discussions at EUSEW 2026 on energy poverty and local energy solutions, and recent events exploring the potential of geothermal energy and sustainable regeneration.

While each activity focuses on a different aspect of the transition, they all share a common goal: building practical and inclusive solutions that respond to local needs while supporting Europe’s broader climate and energy ambitions.
