Two workshops led by GINNGER and other EU projects will showcase practical approaches to sustainable design and community regeneration at Sustainable Places 2025.
GINNGER, together with REGEN, INHERIT, SNUG, REHOUSE, SINCERE and Open Lab, has proposed two interactive workshops for Sustainable Places 2025, taking place 8–10 October in Milan.
The conference is among Europe’s leading events on energy-efficient buildings, urban regeneration and the clean energy transition, bringing together researchers, industry and policymakers to translate sustainability into real-world solutions.

The workshops proposed by GINNGER are:
- NEB: From Principles to Reality: Organised by Star Track and NEB Junction, this session explores how EU projects like REGEN, drOp, INGUMA, AEGIR and GINNGER are translating New European Bauhaus values into practice through co-creation, digital tools and community empowerment.
- Neighbourhood Regeneration 2.0: Led by a cluster of Built4People projects, this workshop focuses on scaling sustainability from buildings to neighbourhoods. It will showcase project contributions to EU policy goals and co-design a 2025–2026 roadmap for inclusive, low-carbon communities.
We look forward to contributing to the dialogue on sustainable and inclusive urban transformation!
