"As the GINNGER project moves forward, we are proud to share the key advances that are shaping our vision for inclusive and sustainable urban regeneration.
A comprehensive analysis of the demonstrator ecosystems has provided valuable insights into local contexts, stakeholders and challenges, laying the groundwork for effective human-centred and digital solutions.
A critical aspect of GINNGER was the assessment of citizen capacity for regeneration actions (RAs) in six pilot sites, identifying key conditions for active community participation. The first version of the Regeneration Action Catalogue is now available, providing local authorities, SMEs and citizens with a strategic tool to guide context-sensitive interventions.
We have also developed a co-creation methodology to engage residents, authorities and stakeholders in collaborative urban regeneration, and we are developing a digital toolkit to facilitate the planning, implementation and operation of regeneration interventions.
Looking ahead, partners are finalising pilot monitoring plans and the upcoming project meeting in Massagno will be key to further exploring GINNGER's progress in the Swiss pilot.
Stay tuned for more updates as we work towards transforming urban spaces!"
